We use information to create and manage accounts, publish event pages, process RSVPs, support guest features, collect uploads, display guestbook content, manage visibility settings, and provide the services requested by hosts and guests.

We use donation and payout information to start secure donation checkout, calculate and display service fees, confirm payment through payment-provider webhooks, apply security holds, review refund or dispute flags, support payout requests, maintain payout history, and help prevent fraud, abuse, chargebacks, self-payments, or suspicious activity.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product usage, improve workflows, and make business decisions. This information is not intended to identify a specific person.

4. How Information Is Shared

With hosts and event participants: information submitted to an event may be visible to the host, event administrators, invited guests, or public visitors depending on the event settings and feature being used.

With service providers: we may share information with vendors that help operate the service, including hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, customer support, security, and business operations.

With payment and payout providers: we may share account, checkout, subscription, donation, event, donor, host, fee, refund, dispute, payout, and related transaction information with Stripe, WooCommerce payment providers, connected account providers, banks, card networks, fraud-prevention vendors, and other processors as needed to process payments, manage billing, verify identity, enable payouts, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with financial rules.

With professional advisors or legal authorities: we may share information when needed to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect rights, investigate misuse, or enforce our terms and policies.

With business successors: if Dayzy or Moments is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not intend to sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of exchanging it for money. If our practices change or if a privacy law defines certain sharing differently, we will update this policy and provide applicable choices where required.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

Moments may use cookies, pixels, logs, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, understand performance, measure feature use, protect security, and improve the service.

Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies. Some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

6. Event Pages, Guest Content, and Visibility

Hosts control many event settings, including what content is added, what features are enabled, and how a page is shared. Depending on the settings, an event page may be public, private, invite-only, or accessible to anyone with a link.

Guests should only submit content they have permission to share. Hosts should avoid publishing sensitive personal information unless they have a valid reason and appropriate permission.

If you believe content on an event page should be removed or reviewed, contact the host or email us at maven@mydayzy.com with the event link and a clear description of the concern.

7. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Moments, support accounts and events, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain records, prevent abuse, and operate our business.

Subscription, donation, payout, refund, dispute, chargeback, tax, fraud-prevention, security, and accounting records may be retained even after an account, event, message, or donation-related content is removed, if retention is needed for legal, payment, audit, tax, risk, or business purposes.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, account status, event activity, legal requirements, and backup or security practices.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee complete security, so users should also protect their account credentials and use caution when sharing event links or personal information.

If you believe your account or an event page has been accessed without permission, contact us promptly at maven@mydayzy.com.

9. Your Choices and Privacy Requests

Depending on your location and relationship with Moments, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or limit certain uses of information.

To make a privacy request, email maven@mydayzy.com. We may need to verify your identity or authority before fulfilling a request. Some information may be retained when required or permitted by law, for security, fraud prevention, payment processing, dispute handling, tax, accounting, audit, compliance, or other legitimate business obligations.

Hosts may also be able to update certain event, guest, and account details directly from the dashboard.

Payment, billing, payout, identity verification, or connected account requests may also need to be handled through Stripe, WooCommerce, a bank, card network, or another payment provider.

10. Children and Family Events

Moments may be used for family events, graduations, birthdays, and other events involving children or minors. The service is intended for use by adults or with appropriate involvement from a parent, guardian, host, school, organization, or responsible adult.

Hosts and guests should use extra care before publishing or uploading photos, names, school details, addresses, or other information related to children. If you believe information about a child should be reviewed or removed, email maven@mydayzy.com.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

Moments may link to third-party websites, payment processors, maps, registries, social platforms, vendors, or embedded services. Those third parties have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not control how they collect or use information.

Stripe Checkout, Stripe Billing, Stripe Connect, Stripe-hosted onboarding, Stripe billing portals, WooCommerce checkout, card networks, banks, and similar providers may collect payment, billing, identity, tax, banking, device, fraud-prevention, and compliance information directly from users, donors, hosts, or account owners under their own terms and privacy policies.
