In this policy, Moments, we, us, and our refer to Dayzy and the Moments by Dayzy product. Hosts are people or organizations who create or manage event pages. Guests are people who visit, RSVP, upload, submit, or interact with an event page.

Guest and RSVP information: guest names, contact details, RSVP responses, plus-one details, meal choices, notes, messages, and other information submitted for an event.

Uploaded or submitted content: photos, captions, guestbook entries, comments, files, and other content provided by hosts or guests.

Subscription and purchase information: selected plan, trial status, billing contact details, subscription status, renewal dates, cancellation status, checkout sessions, payment provider customer identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase history, invoice status, and limited payment-related records needed to manage access.

Shared Dayzy account information: customer role, subscription level, connected Dayzy products, product access, dashboard activity, entitlement status, account identifiers, and support records used to keep Dayzy account access consistent across Moments, My Dayzy, the Dayzy app, and related Dayzy tools.

Storage and upload information: file names, file sizes, media type, upload dates, thumbnails, resized versions, cached file data, storage estimates, storage limits, over-limit status, and upload attempts needed to display usage and enforce plan limits.

Payment card numbers and similar sensitive payment credentials may be collected and processed by Stripe, WooCommerce payment providers, or other third-party processors. Moments is not intended to directly store full card numbers.

Technical and usage information: device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, referring pages, log data, approximate location derived from technical signals, cookie identifiers, and interactions with our services.

Support and communication information: messages sent through forms, emails, support requests, partnership inquiries, and other communications with Dayzy or Moments.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, publish event pages, process RSVPs, support guest features, collect uploads, display guestbook content, manage visibility settings, and provide the services requested by hosts and guests.

We use subscription and billing information to start Personal trials, determine account access, send trial or renewal reminders, process checkout, update plans, manage billing portal sessions, handle cancellations, record payment status, enforce storage limits, block uploads when an account is over its active plan limit, and deactivate or reactivate accounts based on trial, payment, or subscription status.

We use shared Dayzy account information to show connected products, keep plan status aligned across Dayzy websites and apps, support one account experience, and help users manage access from My Dayzy, Moments, the Dayzy app, and related Dayzy tools.

We also use information to respond to support requests, communicate about accounts or events, process purchases, improve product performance, develop new features, prevent fraud or abuse, protect security, enforce policies, and comply with legal obligations.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product usage, improve workflows, and make business decisions. This information is not intended to identify a specific person.

4. How Information Is Shared

With hosts and event participants: information submitted to an event may be visible to the host, event administrators, invited guests, or public visitors depending on the event settings and feature being used.

With service providers: we may share information with vendors that help operate the service, including hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, customer support, security, and business operations.

With payment providers: we may share account, checkout, subscription, billing, refund, dispute, and related transaction information with Stripe, WooCommerce payment providers, card networks, fraud-prevention vendors, and other processors as needed to process payments, manage billing, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with financial rules.

Across Dayzy products: we may use shared account, customer role, subscription, product access, storage usage, and support information across connected Dayzy products so the same account can reflect the correct plan and product access.

With professional advisors or legal authorities: we may share information when needed to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect rights, investigate misuse, or enforce our terms and policies.

With business successors: if Dayzy or Moments is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not intend to sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of exchanging it for money. If our practices change or if a privacy law defines certain sharing differently, we will update this policy and provide applicable choices where required.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

Moments may use cookies, pixels, logs, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, understand performance, measure feature use, protect security, and improve the service.

Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies. Some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

6. Event Pages, Guest Content, and Visibility

Hosts control many event settings, including what content is added, what features are enabled, and how a page is shared. Depending on the settings, an event page may be public, private, invite-only, or accessible to anyone with a link.

Guests should only submit content they have permission to share. Hosts should avoid publishing sensitive personal information unless they have a valid reason and appropriate permission.

When an account is over its active storage limit, hosts may need to delete, archive, or otherwise reduce stored media before new guest or host uploads can be accepted.

If you believe content on an event page should be removed or reviewed, contact the host or email us at maven@mydayzy.com with the event link and a clear description of the concern.

7. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Moments, support accounts and events, maintain shared Dayzy account access, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain records, prevent abuse, and operate our business.

Subscription, refund, dispute, chargeback, tax, fraud-prevention, security, and accounting records may be retained even after an account, event, or message is removed, if retention is needed for legal, payment, audit, tax, risk, or business purposes.

Deleted or archived media may not immediately change displayed storage usage because backups, thumbnails, resized files, logs, cached file data, and provider systems can update on a delay.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, account status, event activity, legal requirements, and backup or security practices.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee complete security, so users should also protect their account credentials and use caution when sharing event links or personal information.

If you believe your account or an event page has been accessed without permission, contact us promptly at maven@mydayzy.com.

9. Your Choices and Privacy Requests

Depending on your location and relationship with Moments, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or limit certain uses of information.

To make a privacy request, email maven@mydayzy.com. We may need to verify your identity or authority before fulfilling a request. Some information may be retained when required or permitted by law, for security, fraud prevention, payment processing, dispute handling, tax, accounting, audit, compliance, or other legitimate business obligations.

Hosts may also be able to update certain event, guest, and account details directly from the dashboard.

Privacy requests that involve shared Dayzy account access, subscriptions, or product entitlements may affect connected Dayzy products. Dayzy may explain those effects before completing a deletion or restriction request.

Payment or billing requests may also need to be handled through Stripe, WooCommerce, a card network, or another payment provider.

10. Children and Family Events

Moments may be used for family events, graduations, birthdays, and other events involving children or minors. The service is intended for use by adults or with appropriate involvement from a parent, guardian, host, school, organization, or responsible adult.

Hosts and guests should use extra care before publishing or uploading photos, names, school details, addresses, or other information related to children. If you believe information about a child should be reviewed or removed, email maven@mydayzy.com.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

Moments may link to third-party websites, payment processors, maps, registries, social platforms, vendors, or embedded services. Those third parties have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not control how they collect or use information.

Stripe Checkout, Stripe Billing, Stripe billing portals, WooCommerce checkout, card networks, and similar providers may collect payment, billing, device, fraud-prevention, and compliance information directly from users or account owners under their own terms and privacy policies.

The Dayzy app, My Dayzy, and related Dayzy product websites may also process shared account and subscription information under Dayzy policies so the account experience works across the product family.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Moments changes, legal requirements evolve, or our practices are refined. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
